FSP-951-IV is the ivory version of the Notifier FSP-951 low-profile intelligent plug-in photoelectric smoke sensor. The -IV suffix identifies a device that supports both FlashScan and CLIP protocols, so it can be used on the signaling line circuit (SLC) of Notifier panels running either mode. Sensitivity is programmed and monitored from the control panel, and the address is set with rotary decimal switches. The sensor mounts on a separately ordered detector base.

Compatibility and installation notes
- Plug-in sensor: order a compatible base separately. Ivory bases listed in the data sheet include B300-6-IV (6 in flanged low-profile), B501-IV (4 in flangeless), B224RB-IV relay base, B224BI-IV isolator base, and B200S-IV, B200SR-IV, B200S-LF-IV and B200SR-LF-IV sounder bases.
- Mount the base on an electrical backbox at least 1.5 in (3.81 cm) deep.
- End-of-line resistors are not required on the SLC; T-taps are permitted for Class B wiring only.
- When using relay or sounder bases, check the ISO-X installation sheet I56-1380 for device limits between isolator modules and isolator bases.
- LED blinks when polled and latches on in alarm. Walk test with address display works on FlashScan systems only.
- Built-in functional test switch is activated by an external magnet; the cover and insect screen are removable for field cleaning.
- Space detectors per NFPA 72.
- Notifier describes the FSP-951 Series as a direct replacement for the FSP-851 Series.
