Product details

COSMO-2W is a System Sensor i4 Series 2-wire combination detector that senses both smoke (photoelectric) and carbon monoxide (electrochemical) in one system-connected device. Working through the COSMOD2W interface module, it sends separate smoke and CO signals to a conventional fire alarm panel and sounds Temporal 3 for smoke and Temporal 4 for CO. One device replaces separate smoke and CO detectors, cutting wiring and back boxes.

Key features

  • Distinct smoke and CO signals to the panel via the i4 interface module
  • Built-in 85 dBA sounder with Temp 3 (smoke) and Temp 4 (CO) patterns
  • Field-replaceable CO cell with a 10-year end-of-life timer
  • RealTest function allows a functional CO test with canned CO
  • Plug-in base with EZ Walk loop testing and SENS-RDR sensitivity checks

Before you order

The COSMOD2W 2-wire interface module is required to connect COSMO-2W detectors to a fire alarm panel; one module supports up to 12 compatible detectors. For 4-wire circuits, use the COSMO-4W with the COSMOD4W module.
